Betting and Game Rules

This page sets out the rules that apply when you place a bet, spin a reel or join a table at Grp Casino. It explains how rounds are settled, what happens if a game is interrupted, and how to ask us to look into a result.

General rules that apply to all play

These rules form part of your agreement with us and apply to every product in our lobby, alongside our Terms & Conditions and the rules published inside each game. Where a game's own rules cover a point in more detail, the rules shown in that game apply to that round.

  1. One account per player. You may hold only one account with us, in your own name, and you must be 18 or over to register or play. We hold a gaming licence and verify accounts before withdrawals are paid.
  2. Play for yourself only. An account may be used only by the registered holder. You may not bet on behalf of another person, or let anyone else use your account or your payment methods.
  3. Real-money and bonus balances. Your balance may hold real money, bonus funds or both. The cashier shows which balance a stake will be taken from and the order in which funds are used.
  4. Bets are final. Once a bet is confirmed and the round has started, it cannot be changed, cancelled or taken back, whether the result is settled at once or after a delay.
  5. Stake and prize limits. Minimum and maximum stakes, and maximum payouts, are those shown in each game and in the limits applied to your account.

Playing safely

You can set deposit, loss and session limits, take a time-out or self-exclude at any time from the safer gambling area of your account. Free, confidential support is available from GambleAware, GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline, and GamStop lets you exclude yourself from all licensed gambling sites in Great Britain.

How bets and spins are settled

Every round runs on the game server, not on your device. The screen in front of you displays the outcome; the record held on the server is the outcome.

  • The result recorded by the game server is final. It is used to settle the round, credit any win and update your balance.
  • If the result shown on your screen differs from the server record, for example after a refresh or a dropped connection, the server record stands.
  • Wins are paid in line with the paytable and the rules published in the game itself, including rules on winning lines, bonus features and any feature purchases offered.
  • Each game shows its theoretical return-to-player figure in its help or information screen. That figure describes long-run average return across many rounds and says nothing about the outcome of a single session.
  • Outcomes are produced by a random number generator that is tested as part of our licensing obligations. Earlier results have no effect on later rounds.

Malfunctions and interrupted rounds

Software and hardware can fail. Where that happens, your position is restored to what it should have been, rather than to what a faulty screen displayed.

  • A malfunction voids all pays and play. If a game, feature or display is affected by a fault, the affected round and any payout from it are void.
  • A fault includes an error in the game software, a break in communication between the game and the server, and a display that shows a result the server did not record.
  • If you lose your connection part-way through a round, reconnect and open the same game. Rounds that can continue will resume; rounds that cannot are settled on the server and the result is applied to your balance.

Playing with bonus funds

Bonus funds, free spins and similar offers are governed by the terms of the offer you accepted, which sit alongside these rules.

  • Wagering requirements, qualifying games and the time allowed to use an offer are set out in the terms of that offer and in the promotions area of your account.
  • A maximum bet applies while a wagering requirement is open. Stakes above it may lead to the bonus and any winnings from it being removed.
  • Games contribute to wagering at different rates, as shown in the contribution table published with the offer. Some games do not contribute at all.
  • Play that removes risk, such as covering both sides of an even-money bet, does not count towards wagering.
  • If an offer is used in a way its terms do not allow, we may void the bonus balance and any winnings from it. Real money you have deposited is not affected.

Live casino and table games

Live tables are hosted by dealers in a studio and follow the posted rules of the table you join.

  • The dealer's call and the result recorded by the table's own system settle the round.
  • Bets must be placed within the betting window. Chips that are not confirmed before the window closes are returned and take no part in the round.
  • Each table publishes its own rules, side bets and payouts in its help screen, including how misdeals, dealer errors and exposed cards are handled.
  • Table minimums and maximums are shown in the lobby and at the table, and a seat may be released if you are inactive.
  • Where a round is void under the table rules, stakes for that round are returned and no payout is made.

Questions and disputes about a result

If you believe a round was settled incorrectly, contact us as soon as you can and we will look into it.

  1. Write to support@casinogrp.co.uk or use the live chat on the site.
  2. Tell us the game name, the date and time of the round, the round or game identifier shown in your play history, and the stake you placed.
  3. We check the server record, your play history and our transaction logs, then reply with what those records show.

Our records of rounds, stakes and payouts are the record of play in any question about a result. If our answer does not settle the matter, our complaints procedure explains how to take it further, including to the alternative dispute resolution service named there.
